When Health and Safety procedures are understood and followed in any workplace everyone knows exactly what's going on and feels more secure and safe in the job. This produces a more relaxed and happy workplace.

As an employer you need to keep employees safe and your workplace OSH compliant; the Working Safe courses provide the basics in Health and Safety for any workplace.

As an employee, you are actively involved in Health and Safety as a normal part of your job. These courses teach you what you are responsible for, what your employer is responsible for, and how to work together to create a safe workplace.

It has been proven that to maintain an active Health and Safety system and to build a Health and Safety culture within your organisation, all staff need to review the material on a regular bases.

HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING

This programme offers three modules.

Module 1: Introduction to safety.
This is Health and Safety induction training for employees it is designed to help them understand what is involved and how it affects them. Every employee in your business should do this module as part of their employee induction process. 1.5 hours Duration.

Module 2: Safety Officer training
Full training to a person on how to put together their own companies Health and Safety manual and teaches that person what is required to run a active Health and Safety system on a ongoing bases. Plus this module provides access into the actual Health and Safety act related to the subject reviewing at the time. This module is suited to a company of up to thirty staff. Every small business owner should do this module. They will then have all the information they need to do a good job of workplace safety. Duration: 8 to 10 hours.

Module 3: Health and Safety Representative
This has all the features of module 2, but it takes you to a much higher level. In NZ and Australia it covers the Health and Safety Representative role as required by Law. For the UK it meets the training required for Senior Management and Chief Executives. The Health and Safety representative or the company owner should also do this to gain a greater understanding of their responsibilities. This Module is for companies of over 30 staff. Duration: 16- 18 Hours.

For all of these modules the student gets a completion certificate for their CVS and to hang on the wall.

Churches have large numbers of people in their care both on the premises and during outreach and offsite activates. As in any organisation it is important to ensure that these people are supported by a Health and Safety culture. This course teaches what is required and gives the tools to help you do the right things for your staff and ministry.

This is a Healthy and Safety induction that teaches students how to identify and manage risk in the hotel and Timeshare industry. They learn how to put in place systems to protect themselves, customers and their employer in order to keep everyone safe, in a practical and systematic way.

DRIVER & FLEET MANAGER TRAINING

Most work place injuries occur in a motor vehicle. We know how to drive but we still injure ourselves. This is a simple but effective online training experience that highlights the reasons why we need to address these issues. It teaches what to do about avoiding work place related injury and assists fleet managers understand their key role.
