All Health and Safety requirements are outlined in two key documents (with some ammendments):
Throughout the course we will usually shorten the names to the HSE Act or HSE Regulations.
You, as an employee, are not required to know everything contained in these documents, but you are responsible for many aspects of H&S in your workplace.

Although they are official government legislation, they are fairly easy to follow and many parts are quite logical. There is a very comprehensive list of contents and the online version is very easy to navigate.
You may like to keep a copy of the Act open to refer to while doing this course.
