In excess of 180,000(that involved a visit to the doctor) minor workplace injuries per year
At least 25,000(where the injured person was off work for at least one week) serious workplace injuries per year
At least 300(directly related to chemical poisoning, occupational cancer, etc) work related fatal illnesses per year
Reported workplace fatalities totalling 73(in 2002), 67(in 2003), 67(in 2004) and 46(in 2005)
