Health and Safety induction training provides an understanding of what is involved and how it affects an individual employee.
Who?
Every employee should do this module as part of their employee induction process.
1.5 hours Duration.
Module 2: Safety Officer Training
What?
Full training on how to put together your own company Health and Safety manual and how to run an active Health and Safety system on an ongoing basis. This module also provides specific Health and Safety legal information relating to the topics covered.
Who?
Suited to a company of up to 30 staff.
All small business owners should complete this module to gain the necessary information for workplace safety.
Duration: 8 to 10 hours.
Module 3: Health and Safety Representative Training
What?
All the features of Module 2, but at much greater depth. In NZ and Australia it covers the Health and Safety Representative role as required by Law. In the UK it meets the training required for Senior Management and Chief Executives.
Who?
Health and Safety Representatives, company owners, senior management and chief executives should complete this Module to gain a greater understanding of their responsibilities.
Suited to companies 30 staff and over.
Duration: 16- 18 Hours.
Specialist Modules
Churches
Churches have large numbers of people in their care both on the premises and during outreach and offsite activities. As in any organisation it is important to ensure that these people are supported by a Health and Safety culture. This course teaches what is required and gives the tools to help you do the right things for your staff and ministry.
Hotels and Time Share Properties
This is a Healthy and Safety induction that teaches students how to identify and manage risk in the hotel and timeshare industry. They learn how to put in place systems to protect themselves, customers and their employer in order to keep everyone safe, in a practical and systematic way.
Driver Training
Most workplace injuries occur in a motor vehicle. We know how to drive but we still injure ourselves. This is a simple but effective online training experience that highlights the reasons why we need to address these issues. It teaches what to do about avoiding work place related injury and assists fleet managers understand their key role.
